cause of HomeAid OC.
The season of celebration and hope officially kicks off on October 8th, 2011 when the Playhouse Village takes center stage at the Irvine Spectrum Center®. The signature fundraising event benefits the efforts of HomeAid OC, and visitors can view an array of fantasy playhouses that will be on display for a five-week run. The culmination of Project Playhouse will be the spirited live auction during the 20th Anniversary Celebration.
“As we look forward to a milestone anniversary of Project Playhouse, I must express our gratitude to the county’s leading builders, architectural designers and consultants who have consistently donated their time, expertise and materials to construct these state-of-the-art dream homes. One of our most influential benefactors has been General William Lyon and we are delighted to announce that the 20th Anniversary Celebration will include a special tribute honoring his ongoing dedication to this very worthy cause,” said event co-chair John Racunas.
“Our mission continues and the invaluable contributions of the real estate industry, coupled with the enthusiasm of the millions of visitors who tour the playhouses each year, make it possible for HomeAid OC to reach our goal of providing the homeless with a safe place to live and we thank you for your continued generosity,” concluded event co-chair Brandi Uehli.
